From newborns to grandparents, everyone is welcome at Health Focus Centre.
As a father of two beautiful daughters, Dr Raffi understands the need of chiropractic care at different stages of life. Dr Raffi adjusted his wife through both pregnancies, his children for those moments where falls and postural strains caused issues and still manages to regularly adjust his 90 year old grandmother for chronic neck pain despite her taking part in weekly yoga and aqua aerobic classes. Chiropractic is a family affair and can be used to help relieve discomfort, improve posture and maintain a sense of wellness.
During a time where technology has jumped from big monitors to small handheld screens, the rise in postural strains and headaches in our children has become more apparent. The need for chiropractic care for these children and teenagers is more now than it has ever been. For many parents, the health initiative of having their children examined and educated for good posture is paramount. “As grows the twig so does the tree”.
Bad habits, prolonged sitting, sedentary lifestyles, trauma and accumulated strains and postural weakness can, over many years, cause immobility in spinal segments which can lead to the initiation of osteoarthritis. This process takes many years to take shape, which is why many adults complain of spontaneous back pain. It is important to listen to the signs and hopefully prevent such episodes from occurring. At Health Focus Centre Dr Raffi is passionate about helping and educating families in ways to avoid future spinal problems, which usually surface as neck pain, low back pain, disc compression or bulges, headaches and more. Dr Raffi cares for all ages tailoring treatments to suit different stages of life.
